If you do well you may continue on to section B. Please endeavour to progress one step at a time by using the ‘previous’ ‘next’ links to navigate through the course. There is ALWAYS a stiff exam at the end of every mini-course!
There are 4 sections (A-B-C-D) in every grade.

- In this grade we will be adding a few more key signatures and extending leger lines
- Some extra Major and Minor scales and Modal scales are introduced
- Simple Time Signatures
- Note and Rest grouping
- Rhythm to Words
- Triplets and Double-Dotted Notes
- Dominant and Sub-Dominant Triads and Chords
- Melody – Phrasing, Dynamics, Finding Key signature etc.
- Intervals 1-5
- Music Terms

ONLINE MUSIC QUALIFICATIONS WITH ONE-2-FIVE!
On successful completion of this grade you will qualify for a certificate. All you need to do is register to enable access the final quiz pages of grades 1-5 and after studying the relevant mini-courses have a shot at the final quiz-exam. If you can complete the test within the time limit and score high enough you will receive an email with your results and a link to download your certificate. Unsuccessful candidates may retake an alternate exam at least 24 hours later.
